Introduction
Praise Panel ("the App") is developed by Brandon Clement ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Praise Panel is designed with privacy in mind. Your worship leader data stays on your devices and in your private Supabase account. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Information We Collect
Praise Panel collects the following types of information:
- Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. If you sign in via Planning Center, we receive your name and email from your Planning Center profile.
- Worship Leader Data: Names, roles, and photos of worship leaders you add to the app. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable sync, in your private Supabase database.
- Display Preferences: Your app settings such as accent color, background theme, and display box configurations.
- Subscription Information: Purchase and subscription status is managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (displaying worship leader information)
- Sync your data across your devices (Mac, iPad, Apple TV) when you opt in
- Authenticate your account and manage your subscription
- Connect to Planning Center Online to import service and team data (premium feature, requires your explicit authorization)
Planning Center Integration
If you choose to connect your Planning Center account (a premium feature), the App uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE to securely authenticate with Planning Center. We access:
- Your Planning Center user profile (name and email)
- Your organization's service planning data
We do not store your Planning Center credentials. You can disconnect your Planning Center account at any time from the App's settings.
Data Storage & Security
- Local Storage: Worship leader data, photos, and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard app storage.
- Cloud Sync: If you enable sync, your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database secured with Row Level Security (RLS), meaning only your authenticated account can access your data.
- Encryption: All network communications use TLS 1.3 encryption. Data at rest in Supabase is encrypted using AES-256.
- Photos: Leader photos are stored locally on your device. When synced, photo data is transmitted securely to your private cloud storage.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent: When you explicitly connect third-party services like Planning Center.
- Service providers: We use Supabase for cloud database hosting. Supabase processes data on our behalf under strict data protection agreements.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored in the App
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Export your data from the App
- Disconnect third-party integrations (Planning Center) at any time
- Opt out of cloud sync and keep your data local-only
Children's Privacy
Praise Panel is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with the following third-party services:
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, all associated cloud data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Local data on your devices is removed when you uninstall the App.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
European Residents (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and the performance of the contract (providing the App).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
